About
The Lighthouse for Christ is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization. We strive to serve Christ in everything we do. We pray that anyone who comes through our door feels accepted and feels a sense of hope through our services that only Christ can help us provide through our willing and dedicated volunteers.
Our Director
Abby Sprague has served as the Director of the Lighthouse for Christ since 2018. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Cultural Studies from K-State in 2017, where her interest in social and non-profit work took root. Abby has diverse work experience including retail and positions at the Clay Center Carnegie Library, a plant pathology lab during her senior year at K-State, and Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community.
Abby believes that God used each of these experiences to prepare her for her current role at the Lighthouse. She and her husband, Clay, have two daughters. They enjoy swimming in their backyard pool and hosting gatherings with family and friends at their home.
We are committed to helping provide food and clothing,
as well as some household items and furniture.
